Covid-19 Club Updates (Rev.6/29/20)

Dear Members,

As you may have read, all travelers entering New York who have recently traveled within a state with either:  a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a seven-day rolling average; or a testing positivity rate of higher than a 10% over a seven-day rolling average, will be required to quarantine for a period of 14 days consistent with the Department of Health (DOH) regulations for quarantine. We will continue to monitor updates at https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory frequently as rates of COVID-19 transmission increase or decrease.

Currently, states that are impacted include Florida, Texas and Arizona.

Please be aware if you are planning a trip or coming back to NY you should NOT be at The Club in any capacity for the 14 day period.  This also applies to your guests.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. The Lloyd Neck Bath Club, Inc. (“The Club”) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, The Club cannot guarantee that you, your child(ren) or your guests will not become infected with COVID-19.  Further, attending the Club could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

By utilizing the club facilities, attending socially distant dinners, tennis events or camp, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you, your child(red) or your guests may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending the Club and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. Your attendance implies you understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Club may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself  and others, including, but not limited to, Club employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. Your attendance implies you voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to you, your children or your guests.

LAUNCH PROCEDURES
ONLY the boat owner will be taken to their vessel via launch and they must drive their boat back to the dock to pick up the rest of their group. The launch driver and ONE member only on the boat at any given time. Please remain on the beach and wait until your boat has arrived at the dock for pick up. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in adhering to these procedures.

TABLE AND CHAIR PROCEDURES

We will put out tables and chairs on the Beach and Tennis porches, as well as on the beach itself.  These will be spaced in a way that reinforces social distancing.  We will also be using a simple color-coded system to indicate if the chair and table has been cleaned since the last use, or needs cleaning.  Green Rock– take a seat and enjoy.  Red Rock– find Gregg or a maintenance person to clean the chairs and table. We ask that when you vacate your chair and table you turn the rock to red and make sure it is visibly placed to ensure the safety of the next member.  Our staff is following the Department of Health cleaning protocols but feel free to bring your own ‘cleaning and sanitizing’ material if you wish.
